This is the foundation paper pieced pattern "Fox-y Friend”, an adorable fox that is part of the Arctic Animal Collection, but has the ability to have the white tuft to also be made into a classic Red Fox. This block comes together in 16 sections, and finishes to 12x12, 15x15, or 20x20 inches, perfect for a mini-quilt or as part of a larger quilt.
You will only receive a digital download that you can print at home. It is designed for standard US letter sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches). It should print on A4 paper, however if an issues arises, please email me and I will reformat it for A4 at no extra cost.
This PDF has three separate patterns for each size (no scaling required!)
Included are:
-pattern for 12", 15", and 20" block
-the instructions and directions on the order to assemble pieces
-a 1 inch square on each pattern size to assure printer set to correct size
-fabric estimates for each block size
-a colored and labeled page for stress-free color design
-a blank numbered page for designing your own color scheme
-the numbered pattern with 1/4" seam allowance included in each section
-tips for printing and piecing
There are no Y seams in my patterns.
This pattern were tested and was is recommended for those intermediate or above experience. There are a several very tiny pieces that will require experience (to be made at 12" size). The 20" pattern will have larger pieces, but larger FPP can have its own difficulties. The 15" is the best choice if you are uncertain of your skills. This pattern will require taping or gluing pages together.
My PDF instructions are written to be a guide during assembly, not a how-to for someone who has never done foundation paper piecing before. I offer links with how to's, however I'd get a little experience before tackling this one.
