Perched Cardinal

This is the foundation paper pieced pattern "Perched Cardinal”, a dignified cardinal sitting on a branch. This block comes together in 11 sections, and finishes to either 12x12 or 15x15 inches.

There are no Y seams in my patterns.

This pattern were tested by beginner paper piecers, and was recommended for beginners with a little experience, as the seams around the beak and eyes, as well as the toes, can become a little bulky and difficult to work with. 

My PDF instructions are written to be a guide during assembly, not a how-to for someone who has never done foundation paper piecing before.
