Hockey Sticks - Let's Play Collection
This listing is for the Hockey Sticks foundation paper pieced pattern, part of the "Let's Play" sports collection. It finishes to either 8", 10", or 12" in 5 sections. This has some smaller fiddly piecing but can be finished by a beginner
Difficulty 2 out of 5
You will only receive digital downloads that you can print at home. There is a PDF file that is designed to print on US Letter paper.
Included are:
-pattern for the 8" block
-pattern for the 10" block
-pattern for the 12" block
-instructions for scaling to 7", 9", and 11" blocks (designed to scale for A4 printing, but works on US letter as well)
-fabric estimates for all sizes
-the instructions and directions on the order to assemble pieces
-a 1 inch square on each pattern size to assure correct printer settings
-a colored and labeled overall photo for stress-free fabric design
-symbols on the pattern to aid in fabric placement
-a blank numbered page for designing your own color scheme
-the numbered pattern with 1/4" seam allowance included on each section
-tips for printing and piecing
-a print-ready fabric swatch page
-fabric estimates
There are no Y seams in my patterns.
My PDF instructions are written to be a guide during assembly, not a how-to for someone who has never done foundation paper piecing before. I offer links to free tutorials that I would recommend using as practice prior to sewing this block.
