This is the foundation paper pieced pattern "Hummingbird”, a brightly colored flying hummingbird. This block comes together in 9 sections, and finishes to either 10x10 or 15x15 inches.
You will only receive a digital download that you can print at home. It is designed for standard US letter sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches). It should print on A4 paper, however if an issues arises, please email me and I will reformat it for A4 at no extra cost.
This PDF has two separate patterns for each size (no scaling required!)
Included are:
-pattern for 10" and 15" block
-the instructions and directions on the order to assemble pieces
-a colored and labeled page for stress-free color design (color shown is rainbow)
-a blank numbered page for designing your own color scheme
-the numbered pattern with 1/4" seam allowance included in each section
-tips for printing and piecing
There are no Y seams in my patterns.
This pattern were tested and was given the beginner-friendly (w/ a little experience) seal of approval.
My PDF instructions are written to be a guide during assembly, not a how-to for someone who has never done foundation paper piecing before. I offer links, however this may not be the ideal first paper pieced pattern to tackle.
