Soaring Eastern Bluebird

This is the foundation paper pieced pattern "Soaring Eastern Bluebird" - This happy bluebird is based on the bluebirds found in my home state of Indiana. This block comes together in 14 sections.

You will only receive a digital download that you can print at home. It is designed for standard US letter sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches).

This PDF has two separate patterns for each size (no scaling required!)

There are no Y seams in my patterns.

Included are:

-pattern for 12" and 15" block

-the instructions and directions on the order to assemble pieces

-a coloring and planning overview sheet, with the sections labeled

-a numbered and colored page for stress-free color design

-the numbered pattern with 1/4" seam allowance included in each section

-tips for printing and piecing 

This pattern has some bulky seams and small pieces, especially with the 12" block. I would recommend the 15" block to intermediate paper piecers (although a beginner who took their time could get it done), and the 12" should be a more experienced paper piecer. 

My PDF instructions are written to be a guide during assembly, not a how-to for someone who has never done foundation paper piecing before.
