Star II - Stars of the Forest

This is the 3rd of 12 blocks for the "Stars of the Forest" Quilt, released as part of a Quilt Along, but can also be a great stand alone block!

This easy star finishes to 15x15" in 4 sections and is Foundation Paper Pieced. It is a great learning block for beginners, and includes a link to a video tutorial with free patterns. There are not written directions inside the PDF for paper piecing. 

You will only receive a digital download that you can print at home. It is designed for standard US letter sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches). It should print on A4 paper, however if an issues arises, please email me and I will reformat it for A4 at no extra cost. 

Included are:

-pattern for the 15" block

-the instructions and directions on the order to assemble pieces

-a 1 inch square to assure correct printer settings

-rough fabric estimates for the block

-a colored and labeled page for stress-free fabric design

-symbols on the pattern to aid in fabric placement

-a blank numbered page for designing your own color scheme

-the numbered pattern with 1/4" seam allowance included on each section

-tips for printing and piecing 

There are no Y seams in my patterns.

My written PDF instructions are written to be a guide during assembly, not a how-to for someone who has never done foundation paper piecing before. I DO offer links with how to's and free blocks.
